52 orchestras have been awarded FY22 Grants for Arts Projects (GAP), Part 1 and Challenge America support by the National Endowment for the Arts. These orchestras will present a wide variety of concerts and festivals including works by familiar as well as emerging composers, support composer and artist residencies, host community engagement and education programs, and support training programs for young students.

Nearly every orchestra participates in a 4th of July celebration. Your elected officials will be looking for opportunities to be part of civic events like yours.
This 60-minute webinar, led by Arts Consulting Group, explores the changing demographics and opportunities with the growing Latinx community. We look at case study examples from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the San Francisco Symphony, as well as recommendations for inclusive practices and actionable insights from the LatinXperience Study. We also learn about the two mindsets identified by the study for engaging with the arts – the Pride mindset and the Progress mindset.

The League of American Orchestras’ hallmark ten-day professional development seminar, Essentials of Orchestra Management, will return to New York City after nearly a decade, presented in collaboration with Juilliard Extension.
