To survive and to thrive, orchestral music must continue to evolve as a creatively vibrant artform that is moving and authentically meaningful to the diverse communities and audiences we serve. Recent years have focused attention on the work of historically marginalized composers, including women and non-binary composers, and composers of color. But has the dial actually shifted? Are orchestras programming differently in 2022, than they did in 2015? To spoil the surprise, the answers are yes!

In this 2022 National Conference session, the Institute for Composer Diversity presents their Orchestra Repertoire Report 2022, produced in partnership with the League.
