Conference 2022: Creating a More Equitable Future: Lessons from the Corporate Sector

Speakers: Alan Mason, Managing Director, BlackRock; Jonathan McBride, Partner, Heidrick & Struggles; and Anna Mok, Partner, Deloitte, President and Co-Founder, Ascend
Facing up to racism and committing to change is as important to the corporate sector as it is for non-profits. What lessons can we learn from large companies and the way they have approached this work? In this 2022 National Conference session, League board member and ACSO past president Alan Mason leads a conversation from his vantage point as a senior executive at BlackRock. He is joined by Jonathan McBride, a partner at the pioneering executive search and HR consulting firm Heidrick & Struggles, who is helping spearhead the firm’s work in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
