NEA's Second Round of FY21 Grants Support Nearly 60 Orchestral Online Projects, Community Engagements, and Operations
Nearly 60 orchestras have been awarded FY21 Grants for Arts Projects (GAP), Part 2 awards by the National Endowment for the Arts to commission new works, support composer residencies, produce community engagement programs, present online performances, and support afterschool music education for young students.

NEA Announces Guidelines for American Rescue Plan Grants
Today, the National Endowment for the Arts announced guidelines for American Rescue Plan Grants, which are intended to help support jobs in the arts sector, keep the doors open to arts organizations, and assist the field in responding to and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.

FY2022 American Rescue Plan Grants to Orchestras
52 orchestras have been awarded FY22 Grants for Arts Projects (GAP), Part 1 and Challenge America support by the National Endowment for the Arts. These orchestras will present a wide variety of concerts and festivals including works by familiar as well as emerging composers, support composer and artist residencies, host community engagement and education programs, and support training programs for young students.

U.S. House Recommends NEA and Arts Education Increases for FY21
Last month, the Appropriations Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives advanced all twelve of its funding bills for FY21, followed shortly by passage by the full House of a package containing nearly all of them.

FY25 NEA Grants to Orchestras
47 orchestras are direct grant recipients of Grants for Arts Projects (GAP1) awards totaling $1,445,000 million and 14 orchestras are receiving Challenge America grants totaling $140,000, plus there are numerous orchestral- and instrument training program-related projects receiving NEA grants.

52 orchestras are direct grant recipients of Grants for Arts Projects (GAP), Part 1 awards totaling $1.255 million and 15 orchestras are receiving Challenge America grants totaling $150,000, plus there are a great number of orchestral- and instrument training program-related projects receiving NEA grants.

NEA Awards CARES Act Funding to States
As of last week, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announced it awarded almost $30 million to the nation's 50 states, the District of Columbia and several territories including Puerto Rico, for re-granting in order to preserve jobs and facilities costs.

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) awarded 101 grants to orchestras through the Grants for Arts Projects categories in FY2020, totaling $2,337,000.
