Welcoming Your Audience Through Technology

Register

July 29, 2026

3:00pm Eastern/Noon Pacific

Discover how simple digital changes can bring your audience closer to your orchestra and create a warmer, more connected concert experience for everyone.

Join us for a 60-minute webinar all about the human side of technology. When introducing new digital tools, whether it’s digital ticketing, interactive programs, mobile apps, or new ways to experience music, it’s easy to focus entirely on the tools themselves. But the real heart of any shift is your people. Learn how to move past common worries, support your guests through tech transitions, maintain accessibility, and make technology feel like a natural extension of the music your guests love.

Topics will include:

  • Moving past the myths: rethinking the idea that your audiences are “too old,” “not interested,” or “uncomfortable” with new technology
  • Caring for the humans: the difference between simply launching a new tool and walking your community through the transition in gentle, creative ways
  • Real-world ideas: practical, real-world strategies from peer orchestras on how to educate, support, and delight your guests using new tools

This webinar will challenge assumptions and assuage concerns, helping you power richer human-centered concert experiences with today’s digital tools.

Speakers: Alecia Lawyer, Founder, Artistic Director, and Principal Oboe, ROCO; Laran Padua, Associate Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra; Greta Rimpo, Director of Marketing and Communications, ROCO; and Nancy Trigg, CEO, InstantEncore
