FCC Action on Wireless Microphones
The League is directly representing orchestras in order to protect their right to interference-free use of wireless microphones and other essential equipment as parts of the broadcast spectrum are auctioned off for other purposes.

The U.S. Department of Education is charged with promoting educational excellence throughout the nation. Federal law recognizes the arts as a core subject of learning. As local partners in music education, orchestras should be aware of the direct and indirect funding opportunities available from the U.S. Department of Education.

Take Action: Travel with Instruments
Orchestras, chamber ensembles, and individual musicians frequently travel in order to bring the experience of live music to audiences here and abroad. In order to facilitate domestic and international cultural activity, the League and its members work to support uniform policies that provide reasonable and reliable procedures for traveling with musical instruments.
