The League is committed to advancing diversity, equality, and inclusion in the orchestral field, and has vowed to serve as a catalyst for change. The Conference included a number of sessions around this mission:

Tuesday Pre-Conference Sessions, 1:00pm - 6:00pm

EdCE Half-Day Meeting

Education and Community Engagement personnel, please join us for an extra half day of professional development on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 before Conference officially begins. We’ll examine Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s interdisciplinary school partnership program, CSO-Connect; hear about a variety of other orchestra-school partnerships throughout the country; and spend time exploring how we can best respond to community needs and what we can learn from a few peer examples.
