Ensuring Effective Board-Staff Collaboration

A primary responsibility of every board is ensuring that the organization has the resources it needs to fulfill its mission. But that can only happen when the board and staff partner to develop sustainable fundraising strategies and create an organization-wide culture of philanthropy.

This interactive workshop will help participants:

  • Identify the dynamics of effective board-staff collaboration
  • Bolster the board’s fundraising capacity
  • Identify strategies for fundraising in uncertain times
  • Overcome barriers to successful fundraising
  • Explore the board’s role in advocacy and communications as adjuncts to fundraising
  • Discuss specific challenges they may be facing within their own organizations

Teams of board and staff members are encouraged to attend this valuable seminar with presenter/facilitator Frank Abdale, a BoardSource Certified Governance Trainer.
