Request for Content Proposals for Conference 2019
June 3 – 5, 2019, Nashville
The League invites our members to contribute ideas and provide input on what’s most interesting, pressing, and important to you for the 2019 National Conference. We seek to offer a variety of learning opportunities including elective sessions, constituency group meetings, and pre-conference workshops that address the needs of attendees and welcome a vast array of ideas.
Please share your ideas and suggestions through our new online form. The League’s Knowledge, Learning, and Leadership team will review all submissions and curate sessions that reflect a thoughtful balance of institutions, topics, and perspectives. While not all proposals can be accepted, all will be kept for future consideration. We appreciate your time in making thoughtful suggestions.
Excellent proposals will address topics that appeal to multiple facets of the orchestral field (i.e., management, artistic, operational, engagement, etc. lenses) and articulate learning objectives. Topics should be timely and relevant to the current landscape of the field and to our Conference attendees. Proposals that outline content suitable for active learning activities and high audience engagement will be given preference.
All proposals should be submitted through the online form. Content should not center around specific commercial products or services. Multiple topics may be submitted, though we ask that only one submission is outlined in each proposal form.
All proposals should be submitted no later than 11:59pm on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.
