So where do I begin? 

The League of American Orchestras offers a number of ways for you to learn more about the field as well as to learn more about the available jobs. 

• To speak with a professional working with an orchestra and get your questions answered, sign up for an Informational Interview .
• To get regular updates about jobs with orchestras, as well as learn about opportunities and news that is impacting the field, join the League.
• To get a basic understanding of the fundamentals of all areas within orchestra management, apply to participate in the annual League seminar, “Essentials of Orchestra Management.”  This 11-day intensive is offered each January in New York City.
• If you already have some experience in the field and want to immerse yourself in the leadership of orchestras, the League’s year-long Orchestra Management Fellowship.
